Lyndsey Schorah

Drawn to mixing media to create unique pieces of art, I am constantly working with new conceptual ideas in order to produce a variety of captivating images. My work is inspired by many aspects of life, which can vary from a found object such as a button in the bottom of my craft box to work by artists such as Dave McKean and Sabrina Ward - Harrison. My most recent work, ‘Polka Dot Lilly’ explores relationships and boundaries between art, photography and fashion. In comparison this project has moved in an innovative direction differing from previous darker subjects such as my creative response to Auschwitz and the sinister side to nursery rhymes.
