Daniel Carpenter

This current series is about relationships. When photographing nature and landscapes I am often caught up in the memories of past places. These memories create relationships between where I stood before and where I am now. Through this exploration I set up scenes for many potential interpretations. It is in those interpretations I find the joy in the working process. Finding new ways to look at things in life and seeking out new meanings is essential to my work.
