The theme of my digital art is to explore the possibilities of the digital world using imagery from the physical world.

Dimensions are toyed with by using layers of three dimensional and two dimensional forms and patterns built around a central image which is the link with the physical world.

This body of work uses flowers as a metaphor for the short-lived life of a digital print with the online gallery being the seed bank and the end user being the gardener giving life to the image by printing it.

I use my skills developed as a commercial graphic designer to visualise my art each piece is completely drawn in Illustrator although the reference is from real life and photography, either my own or found.

The internet is a busy, hectic and exciting space and my aim is to create art that provides an area of calm, allowing the viewer to pause and reflect during their online journey.
